Christmas films are generally horrible. I know, I've seen many. Like I've said before though, there are good crap Christmas films and there are crap crap Christmas films. Elf-Man is actually not too bad and thanks to the original (if not a little bizarre) superhero side-story and the strange but welcome casting (including Jackass's Jason 'Wee Man' Acuna and cult horror icon Jeffrey Combs) it is unlike all the other seasonal films. I'm a big Jeffrey Combs fan, he overdoes it just a little bit here as often does but I believe him to be somewhat of a genius. Not great but a near masterpiece in Christmas film terms. A good crap Christmas film.
