Instead of focusing on a big hairy monster, this early Hammer horror concentrates on script and story. I was expecting questionable acting and wobbly set pieces but I couldn't have been more wrong. The performances and dialogue are both brilliant and the snowy mountain scenes are impressive. This little b-movie needs some love, it's deserves it!
