I really liked Rise Of The Guardians, much more than this film but it's only now I realise one seems to have copied the other somewhat. Oh dear. To Guardians credit though, it's a much improved version. The Santa Clause films aren't great, The Escape Clause is just as bad as the first and second film but it has got Martin Short in it, and I love Martin Short, he adds a star to each film he's in and he is genuinely good in this. Hurrah. But please, no more, this horse is officially dead and flogged. Another notable mention is due for the great Peter Boyle, he is also quite good in his short role but overall it's an unfortunate Swan-song for the brilliant actor.
