With a title like House at the End of the Street I was expecting a modern day remaking of the old exploitation slasher films of the 1970's. Although I didn't always care for films like The Last House on the Left, The House on the Edge of the Park etc, they are complete masterpieces compared to Mark Tonderai's film. They were nasty but original, House at the End of the Street is tired and completely void of suspense or horror. What you are left with is a group of good actors trying their very best against a terrible plot and an awful script. As the tagline may suggest, best keep clear of the House at the End of the Street if you know what's good for you.
