Storage 24
Dir: Johannes Roberts
2012
**
Storage 24 has a pretty good premise for a horror thriller. It has a great introduction, is full of intrigue and has a certain something about that makes it stand out. It also has character development, a forgotten factor that many horror film makers forget. However, after the first 15 minutes all the usual cliches rear their ugly heads and things go south. The acting is fairly dreadful and gets worse as the film goes on, suddenly everything that was edgy about the film becomes laughable and then a bit annoying. It's an amalgamation of many horrors that have come before but done badly. I'm being generous with my star rating, there are aspects I thought were clever but overall I wasn't particularly entertained.
