One of the best films of 2010, Chico & Rita is a classic love story, beautifully animated and featuring some fantastic Cuban music. It is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming and I can't believe how overlooked it is. It oozes the vibrancy and colour that Cuba is famous for, the attitude, the passion and above all the music is captured (illustrated) perfectly. The finished product is sublime but this is one cartoon that certainly isn't for kids. Move over Jessica Rabbit, Rita's in town!
