Now on its forth outing, Ice Age (Dreamworks) is flogging a dead Mammoth. The franchise looks like it's had its day, there was a feeling of 'This is the last one' in the end credits and not a moment too soon in my opinion. I felt that the last film was only to redeem itself after the disappointing sequel anyway but enough is enough, either follow this up with a Scrat movie or forget it. The characters have nothing left to give and the story has no where else to go, the kids who enjoyed the first film have grown up and no one is demanding a new one.
