Mark Steven Johnson's 2007 adaptation of Ghost Rider, that I'm sure was a difficult challenge, was bloody awful.  Nicolas Cage is wooden, Eva Mendes is even worse. I thought Peter Fonda, in a motorbike heavy film, would be awesome as Satan but he isn't scary at all. My favorite part of the movie was seeing Sam Elliott as the previous Ghost Rider but even he can't save this poor comic adaptation. Seriously, after the dreadful Daredevil and all the negativity it created, who on earth gave Mark Steven Johnson the green light to write and direct? The effects aren't bad but everything else is wrong.
