I really disliked the first Shrek film but somehow I got suckered in by the trailer, which made it look really funny. I thought that maybe they'd hired some new, decent writers in to make a much less serious film that played for laughs more. Nope, the trailer was the best bits, so I really enjoyed around 30 seconds of this film but the rest was just as disappointing as the first film was for me. Not one of my more favorable trips to the cinema it has to be said. I did like Puss in Boots but not enough to like the film any more.
